What is Custom-Travel.net about you might ask and do I need it?

My brother and I are both proud Germans and were born and raised in Germany. This is why we can say, that we know Germany, its beauty, culture and customs first hand. We spent practically the first decade of our traveling in and around Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. 

Then we finally began to reach out to see and understand more of this world. We toured Europe and went to see several more continents like the Americas, Asia and Northern Africa. We did this in several different ways; on foot, by plane, by ship, by car and last but not least on motorbikes. We put some of our adventures online. Just click here.

But even since we traveled almost the whole world, we still appreciate and love our country and its beauty.

This is why we still do a lot of traveling in and around

Germany and why we  also like you to get a deeper understanding of our country, our culture and customs too.

Through our various travels we learned that a good and thoughtful planning of our tours became a very important part of the whole thing. Thoughtful planning ahead of time definitely made the whole journey more fun and so to speak an unforgettable memory.

Since time and money was never an endless resource for us, like for most people we guess, we know exactly how important good planning is. Good travel literature and books are very important, no question, but most of the time this literature is written by foreigners, who just lived there for a while.

So, of course, they only know the country from "the outside" and oversee the hidden gems. We know first hand that it's hard work  digging deeper into a country. So, travel book writers do a good job, but they often just cover the beauty of a country as the world already knows it.

Well let's talk about Germany. Everybody knows Berlin, Heidelberg, Munich, Neuschwanstein, the Concentration Camps, Hitler, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, BMW ....., but that is not what Germany is all about.

Who for example can say that during his visit in Germany he has seen the worlds largest fresko, the medieval city of Rothenburg and it's criminal museum, the newly built car museum and the first ever built car in Stuttgart, the beautiful landscape of the so called "Fraenkische Schweiz" and so on and so on.

Custom-Travel Germany (CTG), as a service of Welt-Traveler, is based on our 27 years of travel experience and was designed "from the inside" to lend you a hand and make your journey a unique and unforgettable memory. This does not mean that we want to hold your hands during your stay. We know that traveling on your own gets you much deeper in our culture and country. Just make your own experiences in one of the safest countries. We just want to give you all the information you want and need, no more or less, to make the best out of your precious time and money.
